In Poland we have popular children game called ciepło-zimno. English title for the same game is Hunt the thimble. There are many versions around the world but especially in Poland and Russia (Kholodno-goryacho) a player is guided to find a hidden object by calls of cold, colder, warm, hot, hotter, boiling.
I find it very interesting to compare current political situation, separating this two countries to similarity, that could be metaphorically pre- sented with the rules of this children game. Problems that influence ours (especially young generation) daily life as a polish citizen but also the global reflection on safety and freedom.
My project is supposed to be an incentive to play. I use my voice to guide the player, as my mom used to guided me when i was a little girl playing with her in ciepło-zimno. What’s hidden is freedom as a uninterrupted process of reaching the goal not necessarily finding it.
